Middletown (Methodist Church)

The First United Methodist Church, 24 Old Church Street, Middletown, hosts a component of the Middletown Adult High School that serves youth between the ages of 16 and 19.  Students at this site are placed by a team of counselors and support staff who determine that they need a small and structured environment in order to be successful in their academic program.

The Methodist Church site is served by two instructors, a paraprofessional and a counselor.  They have a small computer lab and video resources along with career materials available on-site.  Students are also able to access some of the resources of the Main Street site. When needed, additional support services are provided to students.

Each year, this location serves more than 20 students with a number of them receiving their Adult High School diploma and continuing their education at a post-secondary institution.
